Overview of Position
This position’s primary functions include assisting the Controller in ensuring that the organization’s financial records are accurate and assisting the Human Resources Manager with recruitment, payroll and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities
– All aspects of accounts payable, including working with the controller to prepare check runs
– Banking relationships, including maintaining company credit and debit cards, and submitting requests for till change to the banks
– Scanning documents into the paperless filing system
– Supporting payroll processing and related tasks
– State and federal compliance, including various state licenses and 1099s.
– Performing account reconciliations and assisting the Controller with monthly financial closing
– Customer billing and related tasks
– Perform data entry and administrative duties
– Timecard management to include monitoring, auditing, and reconciling electronic postings and records
– Employee Benefits to include tracking and enrolling eligible employees
– New Hire paperwork processing and tracking
– Electronic and paper personnel file maintenance
– Serving as backup for various other office and accounting tasks
– Other office and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience (minimum of 3 years).
• HR Policies & Procedures minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics is a plus but not required.
• Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel; and have knowledge of accounting software.
• Proficient language and mathematical skills with ability to read and interpret written documents, spreadsheets, and numerical data and equations

Overview of Position

An internship at the Wellness Connection is an introduction to our company and will provide you with the opportunity to effectively contribute to moving the business forward. Internship periods are about 12 weeks in duration and will be guided by department leaders. We are looking for an ambitious digital marketing student or recent graduate who is interested in growing professionally within our organization. The Part-time Digital Marketing Intern will participate in the tactical execution of social media marketing projects as well as other digital marketing initiatives.
