Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate is responsible for the full-cycle of inventory accuracy within the production department. In this role the Inventory Associate will ensure accurate counts of on hand product and will build reports that will be used as tools for the Processing Group Manager and Product Manager for both dispensary and wholesale product fulfillment. This position will also be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate inventory dashboards for reporting purposes. Duties and Responsibilities

The Inventory Associate has the main responsibility of maintaining inventory dashboards in order to provide accurate data to the Processing Group Manager and Product Manager to help with production scheduling and inventory distribution.

  • Meets regularly with the Product Manager and Processing Group Manager to provide regular updates of finished goods (FG) and available inventory.
  • Develops and maintains a dashboard tracked in real time to help Processing Group Manager coordinate production schedule
  • Works with all production departments on issues revolving around planning and inventory factors
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal (Auburn, kitchen, and dispensaries) WCM teams
  • Provide timely communication to necessary departments related to inventory transactions, resolving issues including inventory shortages, and responding to questions via phone and email
  • Performs daily plant audits in Processing and bi-weekly audits in Cultivation to ensure full compliance
  • Performs random inventory audits on finished goods and bulk items
  • Prepares weekly progress reports for the Director of Production Operations
  • Maintains records according to State law and Company policy
  • Develops, implements, and updates standard operating procedures

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting

 

Work Experience Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in retail, merchandising, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and distribution
  • Work history showing progressive responsibility, flexibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges

 

Required Knowledge

  • Knowledge of computer, copiers, telephone systems

This full-time position is responsible for coordinating WCM’s wholesale business—interfacing with our wholesale customers, working with the Product Manager, Production, Logistics and Dispensary Departments to ensure seamless delivery of our products from seed to sale, to include, proper and timely invoicing, account statement management and have a keen ability to troubleshoot any customer concern. Cultivation Duties and Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Flex Assistant in Cultivation include crop care as specified by the Cultivation Operations Manager, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the cultivation area and performing other tasks as needed.

Crop care

  • Maintaining consistency and discretion when pruning crop at various stages
  • Routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and reporting findings to Shift Leader and Cultivation Manager

Data Logging

  • Maintaining accurate records of daily progress and discarded plant material

Facility and equipment maintenance

  • Proper usage, maintenance and storage of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to: shop vacs, pumps, hoses, carts, fiskars, scissors, loppers, stools, gloves, rags, and goggles.
  • Cleaning/sanitizing pots to ensure that there are sufficient levels for repotting
  • Complete daily and periodic cleaning tasks as assigned. Daily cleaning consists of: sweeping and spot mopping all areas on the cultivation floor, common bathroom, break room, and loading area
  • Proper disposal of waste at the end of each day
  • Assists in completing other secondary cultivation tasks at the direction of the Cultivation Manager or Shift Leader according to company needs
  • Follows all aspects of the workplace safety program, biosafety program, and compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment inside the cultivation area

 

Processing Duties and Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Flex Assistant in Processing include all aspects of post-harvest trimming, monitoring weight and measurements, presentation and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the processing area.

  • Assists in processing intermediate (post-harvest) medicine
  • Keeps accurate records on each plant using Company system and protocols
  • Records and tracks accurate weights and measurements of medicine throughout the processing procedures using company systems and protocols

The main responsibilities of the Member Liaison include interacting with, educating, and advising members face-to-face and by phone; record-keeping; assisting with inventory and cash management; interacting with local service providers; and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility inside and out.
• Greets members in person or on the phone; schedules appointments; oversees member intake and renewal procedures
• Maintains member records in compliance with State law and Company policy
• Answers questions about the law and the Company from members and others
• Assists members in selecting medicine; advises and educates them about safe dosage and other aspects of this medicine
• Assists Assistant Dispensary Manager with inventory and cash management, daily and weekly
• Maintains a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
• Other duties may be assigned by the Assistant Dispensary Manager according to Company needs

Qualifications
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years post-secondary education in a related field preferred

Work Experience Required
• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred
• Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept, lead, and complete additional projects or challenges

Required Knowledge
• Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
• Thorough understanding of Maine state law governing medical marijuana
• Arithmetic necessary for basic inventory and cash management
• Familiarity with history and varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required
